Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Assistant to support the production and delivery of our technology-related podcasts and blogs. The Production Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of podcast and blog production, including audio editing, content curation, guest scheduling, and social media promotion. This role will require strong communication, technical, and organizational skills to ensure the highest quality content is delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the production of podcasts and blogs related to technology, including audio editing, content curation, and guest scheduling

Work with the production team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of content

Monitor and manage the production calendar to ensure deadlines are met

Collaborate with the social media team to promote content across multiple platforms

Conduct research to support podcast and blog topics and identify potential guests

Assist with script writing, audio recording, and post-production editing

Coordinate with guests to schedule interviews and ensure audio and video quality

Maintain audio and video archives and ensure proper storage and organization

Continuously improve production processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize content delivery

Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines, including brand standards and ethics

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field

Proven experience in podcast and blog production or related field

Strong technical skills, including audio editing software, such as Audacity or Adobe Audition, and content management systems, such as WordPress or Square space

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and guests

Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Knowledge of social media platforms and content promotion strategies

Understanding of basic audio and video production techniques

Passion for technology and the latest industry trends

Willingness to work flexible hours, as needed, to support production deadlines
