Undergraduate or Postgraduate Education: The applicant is preferably an undergraduate student in a major related to Human Resources or Business Administration. Some companies may prefer recent graduates or graduate students for co-op training.
Basic knowledge of human resource management: Basic understanding of human resource management principles such as recruitment, training, performance management, appraisal and personnel policies.
Personal skills: Good verbal and written communication abilities, and the ability to deal with others effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy are also important.
Flexibility and adaptability: The ability to work within a changing environment and provide support in multiple tasks in the Human Resources department.
