Head of Finance

Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading flexible packaging manufacturer in India. Our client is seeking a highly experienced Head of Finance who will be involved in leading financial decisions and giving important financial advice to top management. While keenly overseeing the overall controlling and accounting process the successful Head of Finance will play a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the organization by being a business partner with strategic & operational focus and a catalyst for driving business transformation.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategy Planning and Management: Collaborate with senior leaders as a strategic partner assessing financial performance against longterm goals. Provide insights into short and longterm growth plans. Engage with the Board CEO and executive team contributing to pivotal decisions and aligning departments with strategic initiatives. Set annual financial objectives in line with company growth plans. Implement relevant policies and procedures as directed by the leadership team.

Financial Analysis Budgeting and Forecasting: creating and presenting monthly financial reports covering profit and loss budget forecasts and weekly cash flow. Analyzing monthly financial results the Head of Finance will offer recommendations and oversee the development and execution of analyses for business initiatives product launches or new services. They will be responsible for maintaining monthly and annual operating budgets managing the financial planning and analysis department and supervising the creation of reports and tools for budgeting and forecasting including ERP/software implementation.

Accounting General Ledger Administration and Operations: Manage accounting general ledger administration and operations functions by reviewing and enforcing internal controls. Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting. Oversee the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements. Improve and implement financial and accounting systems processes and tools. Lead the hiring development and management of accounting managers and staff. Act as a primary contact for external auditors and oversee the preparation and support of external audits.

Financial Management: The role involves overseeing cash flow planning managing cash investments and assets and exploring new investment opportunities. The Head of Finance is responsible for maintaining strong banking relationships forming strategic alliances with vendors and partners. They use forwardlooking models for financial insight into the organizations plans and budgets.

Financial Relations and Policies: Work with the finance committee to create plans and budgets for the short and long term. Represent the company to various stakeholders such as banks financial partners and government officials. Stay updated on audit best practices and relevant laws at the state federal and local levels.

Finance and Accounting Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of senior managers in finance and accounting. Manage tasks training evaluations and foster an effective team dynamic. Provide guidance to larger crossdivisional teams across all company entities beyond direct control.

Cash Management: Manage weekly cash flow and the Accounts Payable Department including approving significant payments and signing checks. Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance on the collection process.

Requirements

At least 15 years of experience in a senior financial managerial positions

Mandatory CA certification

Bachelor s degree in accounting business management or finance; MBA

CPA/CFA/MDP from reputed Management Institutes

Indepth knowledge of corporate financial laws regulations and risk management.

Strong expertise in data analysis forecasting and compliancerelated matters.

Extensive experience with external auditors internal controls and problemsolving.

Proficient in banking treasury operations and financial standards (IFRS/IFS GAAP).

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and organize teams.

Excellent communication presentation and analytical abilities.

Resultsoriented strategic thinker with high energy and maturity levels.
