Job Objective:
As the Director of Account Management at you will oversee the team that acts as the point of contact between our company and our clients to help solve problems and achieve business goals. More specifically you ll get to:
serve as the lead point of contact for all clients while building and nurturing trusted longlasting relationships
collaborate with our sales advertising and product development teams to ensure the client is served appropriately
develop strategies to grow existing accounts and ensure quality and costeffective services
gain a deep understanding of the client s needs and what they expect from our company
develop tactics that will deliver the most appropriate products or services
use your outstanding communication skills to present to and influence key stakeholders in our company and with clients
develop your team of Account Managers and oversee key accounts
Plan for achieving revenue target per year and manage team to achieve the target
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of account managers providing guidance support and development opportunities.
- Ensure that clients are satisfied with the products and services they receive and that their needs are being met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and grow existing accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity and adjust plans accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare reports for upper management detailing account status growth opportunities and areas of improvement.
- Train and mentor account managers on best practices industry trends and company procedures
- Attend trade shows and networking events on behalf of the company.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
- Generate new business leads and follow up on potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all account activity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business marketing or related field
- 14 years experience in account management sales or customer service
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Telecom industry background Preferable
