Mckie Recruit are seeking a Solicitor to join our clients Clinical Negligence Team based in their Leeds office. This is a fulltime position with a weekly commitment of 36.25 hours Monday to Friday. Additionally they offer the flexibility of hybrid working.

- working alongside other solicitors partners and paralegals
- having direct communication with clients and thirdparty professionals
- managing their own case load
- dealing with a mix of Complex Clinical Negligence cases
- using the Firm s Case Management Systems
- preparing articles/blogs/legal updates and publishing to social media
- business development activities
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive (or equivalent)
- Experience working within Clinical Negligence and serious catastrophic injury is Essential
- Proven competence in their IT skills (outlook word case management and other systems experience)
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good client care skills providing professional and competent legal advice in accordance with the SRA Code of Conduct
- Experience of handling own caseload working to and managing deadlines alongside the Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets
- Good writing and drafting skills with excellent communication and technical ability
- have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- have an interest in longterm development/progression in the department
- have good communication skills both written and verbal
