Role
Designation: Associate Director (CSR)
Reporting to: Give Grants functions as an extended CSR team for a large Indian listed This role will work with the leadership team and the CSR committee of this firm and carry end-to-end responsibility for the CSR
Location: This is a work from office role, based in The role will need extensive travel across India to visit branch offices and project
Responsibilities
Responsible for implementation of the CSR strategy approved by the CSR
Complete ownership and accountability for annual financial budget creation, program selection, annual action plan creation, monitoring and evaluation, compliance management, employee engagement, brand engagement and any other aspect related to the CSR function
Primary point of contact for the leadership team, other business heads, accounting and finance, as well as implementation partners
Contribute to formulation of the CSR strategy, and long term impact goals and ensure alignment with the business strategy
Developing impact frameworks and Key Performance Matrix across all projects
Managing impact reporting through Non-profits and leading quarterly reporting to the Board
Lead internal coordination across HR, Marketing and business teams to engage with employees (volunteering, employee giving, events ) and to ensure that CSR contributes effectively to the larger branding objectives
Lead a 2-4 member team with ownership for hiring, training and career growth
Ensure CSR and financial Engage with auditors and compliance teams through the
Manage project budgets, disbursements and financial utilization tracking
Profile
An entrepreneurial mindset, with a very high bias for Executes effectively and efficiently, with natural comfort to be hands-on and with the willingness to jump in and do what is
12+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years of prior CSR experience including leadership ;
Prior experience in business consulting firms, CSR consulting firms, NGOs, social enterprises would be an added advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with CXOs, board members and senior executives
Expert level comfort with data analysis, data visualization, project management and presentation tools
Comfortable with a target driven, performance driven environment that can often demand stretch hours
