Key Responsibilities: Daily Inventory Management Liquid Stock Emphasis: Oversee and manage the daily inventory of
liquid stock including Resin MTO Oils and various liquids in barrels ensuring accurate records and
appropriate levels for production. Address and reduce discrepancies between physical and book
inventory.
SAP Management Across Inventory: Proficiently handle SAP entries for all inventoryrelated
activities including direct purchase items receipt of raw materials (RM) and packaging materials
(PM) consumption and overall inventory management. Ensure accurate and timely postings across
all inventory categories.
Vendor Coordination Support: Maintain effective communication channels with both the principal
company and external vendors ensuring clarity in procurement requirements and addressing any
supplyrelated issues promptly to minimize disruptions in production.
Physical Stock Taking Liquid Stock Focus: Lead and conduct regular physical stock checks of liquid
materials ensuring accuracy in counts and reconciliation with system data. Implement strategies to
minimize discrepancies and improve accuracy.
Quality Control Collaboration: Collaborate closely with quality assurance teams to ensure
compliance with quality standards for all incoming materials. Resolve any qualityrelated issues
promptly and according to principal company SOPs.
SAP Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to the team for proper SAP usage and
accurate data entry across all inventoryrelated activities.
Monthly Departmental Reporting:
Prepare and compile a comprehensive monthly report highlighting the operational activities and key
performance metrics of the Material cum Stores Department. This report presented in PowerPoint
format will encompass a detailed overview of inventory management procurement activities stock
levels quality control measures and any significant achievements or challenges faced during the
month. The presentation will also include graphical representations charts and analytical insights
providing senior management with a clear understanding of the department's performance
adherence to set goals and areas for potential improvement. This reporting initiative aims to
facilitate informed decisionmaking promote transparency and ensure alignment with
organizational objectives within the Material cum Stores Department.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management with a focus on handling
liquid stock in a manufacturing environment.
Education: A bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics or a related field. SAP Proficiency: Strong working knowledge and extensive experience in using SAP or similar
inventory management systems for diverse inventory activities with a particular focus on managing
liquid stock.
Vendor Coordination: Experience in effectively communicating and coordinating with external
stakeholders including the principal company for stock management.
Inventory Control: Demonstrated expertise in inventory control methods especially for liquid
materials ensuring proper storage handling and reconciliation.
Adherence to SOPs: Strong understanding and commitment to strictly following Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) set by the principal company.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze inventory data especially related to liquid stocks identify trends
and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
