Role

An exciting opportunity to work as a team lead for AI (Deep Learning) solutions in an aerospace technology company that intend to use AI in avionic products to ensure object identification target tracking and target classification. You will design and develop image recognition and detection software for our UAV vision products with focus on advanced techniques to provide efficient algorithms that can runon lowcost platforms. This is a team lead position with multiple opportunities to help define the direction of this exciting technology. We except our team leads to be handson into deep technology.

Tasks

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex image classification object identification.
  • Define and develop the training platforms and setups to train the networks for the object recognition required by the enduser.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including software engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing products.
  • Conduct data analysis preprocessing and feature engineering to extract valuable insights from large datasets improving model performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest AI and machine learning advancements research papers and tools incorporating them into AI development projects.
  • Optimize AI models for performance scalability and efficiency leveraging ground based resources and embedded computing resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AIrelated issues ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AIdriven applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science machine learning artificial intelligence image processing or a related field or equivalent handson experience in AI neural network development.
  • Experience with realtime 3D rendering image processing and/or computer vision domains. FPGA processing experience is a plus.
  • Having proficiency in Python C C programming language as well as deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow OpenCV and PyTorch.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git enabling effective collaboration and code management.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills crucial for algorithm development and data analysis.
  • Good communication skills enabling effective collaboration and being able to manage a small team of 23 AI software engineers .
  • Languages : English
  • This position is open in Germany Switzerland or Spain
