Health and Safety Manager

A leading environmental group who subcontracts to many highprofile rail and construction companies is looking for an Experienced Health and Safety Manager to join the team on a full time permanent basis. Working across a variety of area s including tree surgery remedial works fencing and landscaping. The role would be well suited to a Health and Safety Manager with previous experience in the Construction Industry and knowledge of its working practices.

Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited too:

Developing health and safety policies

Conducting Risk Assessments

Training and Education

Incident Investigation and Reporting

Compliance

Safety Audit & Inspection

Emergency preparedness

Contractors Management

Skills Knowledge and Experience required:

Previous experience within H&S in a Construction based industry.

Experience of Mechanical Plant would be extremely advantageous

NEBOSH qualified preferred but not essential

IOSH qualified

UK Driving licence National travel required

CSCS card
