The Academy Director will be the pioneering force in establishing developing and managing our new educational academy in Bangalore. This role requires a unique combination of educational expertise business acumen and leadership skills to create a selfsustaining educational institution that aligns with our companys values and market objectives.
What is the role about
- Strategic Development and Planning: Combine strategic planning and program development to launch the academy in the Indian market focusing on courses in smart metering and utility management.
- Operational Management: Oversee academy operations for smooth functioning and adherence to standards while managing budgets to ensure financial sustainability.
- Curriculum Development and Accreditation: Develop a dynamic curriculum in collaboration with experts securing accreditations and compliance with Indian educational regulations.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Recruit and train educators and staff fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Market Penetration and Partnerships: Establish the academy as a premier institution in Bangalore and India and form partnerships with industry and educational bodies.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Implement quality assurance processes and continuously enhance educational offerings based on feedback and industry trends.
Required skills and qualifications
- A Masters degree in Education Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the education sector with significant leadership experience.
- Understanding of the Indian educational landscape and regulatory environment.
- Experience in developing and managing educational programs.
- Strong business acumen and ability to manage an educational institution from a financial perspective.
