Job Description

You have extensive experience in managing a team of IT staff or technicians on site at several locations and are able to handle escalations under high pressure

Then we are looking for you as a communicative Onsite Engineering Lead (m/f/d) at Foundever.

Aufgaben

  • Manage develop and motivate the onsite technicians in your assigned country or region
  • You are largely responsible for the fulfillment of the given targets and individual tasks
  • You will manage all staff related activities such as return to work interviews vacation requests appraisal and performance talks with employees reporting directly to you
  • Ensuring that escalations are handled correctly
  • Support the EMEA ROOM with IT tasks in their area of responsibility
  • Timely and accurate communication with the supported operational teams about IT workload and operations on site
  • Ensure all site IT documentation is up to date and accurate
  • Ensure efficient communication and good stakeholder management with all relevant departments in order to secure efficient collaboration
  • Close collaboration with the Service Manager to review the impact of new and improved services and ensure they are rolled out smoothly
  • You will also work with the IT Security team to ensure that all security policies and future requirements of Foundever and its clients are satisfactorily met and that core services are developed and delivered in a compliant manner
  • Ensure that IT operations across the EMEA region are managed in a standardized way to enable flexibility of resources and infrastructure

Qualifikation

  • Ideally 3 years of experience in leading small IT teams
  • 2 years of experience working as a desktop or onsite technician
  • Proven IT knowledge in desktop support (2nd level role) ideally in a contact center or BPO environment is essential
  • A university degree (B.Sc. /BA) and preferably certification as an ITL practitioner would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English both with clients and technical teams
  • Experience in the administration of antivirus clients and Microsoft patches (WSUS) Dell / HP server hardware and in the support of Microsoft Outlook
  • Skills in hardware setup and backup DNS DHCP management Windows Server 2003 working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM networked printer support and Cisco and Avaya support are also an advantage
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory management and Windows operating systems XP 7 and 8 is essential
  • Knowledge of SOX ISO and PCI standards is welcome
  • Understanding and experience of the role of ITIL within IT
  • You also have experience in migrating/maintaining IT operations in a compliant and auditable state
  • Presentation skills clear and effective communication with stakeholders and clients in escalation or pressure situations
  • You have experience of working in a highly standardized process environment including different countries and languages
  • You bring vision and motivation to this position to be a key interface point of contact between the IT function and the operational business
  • Proven people leadership skillsclients
  • You are willing to travel once a month within the region you are responsible for
