Create mailing lists/groups
Schedule and send newsletters
Track the sending results
Process bounces
Provide reports for analysis
There are a total of 300+ active servers, and each server has a Pigeon Mail in
EXACT MIND
This is the main server that collects data from all servers and provide multiple
3, DATA PROCESSING SERVER
This is the server that processes heavy email databases and categorize
GENERAL TECHINCAL SETTING
Programming language: PHP (version from to 7.24), supported by Perl and JavaScript for
Database: MySQL, version from 5.73 to
Software hosting and version control: GitLab, version
Software development methodology: Hybrid
EXPECTED ACCOMPLISHMENT
By the time our new software developer is comfortable in their role, they will be accomplishing things like:
Maintain and manage all systems
Develop new functions into Pigeon Mail
Ensure of easier deployment on the new functions
Requirements
Education
- Degree Level: IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- Field of Study: Software Development/Engineering
Previous Experience
- A minimum of 3 years working in PHP programming
- A minimum of 3 years working in MySQL
- A minimum of 3 years working in Linux
- Bonus to full stack
- Bonus if new hire has experience dealing with large data
Technical Skills
- Major: PHP, MySQL, Linux
- Secondary: JavaScript, Perl
- Future: Cloud setup and synchronization, Laravel
Domain Knowledge
- Mailing list system/software, bonus to candidates that know about phpList, MailChimp, getresponse, sendinblue or
- High volume transactions and heavy load of data handling
