The Staff Pad is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer specializing in Transportation Traffic Utilities Water and/or Electric systems for our client in Reno Nevada. As a Senior Civil Engineer you will play a critical role in overseeing the design implementation and management of various civil engineering projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada and California with expertise in diverse civil engineering domains.
Responsibilities:
1. Transportation and Traffic Management: Lead and contribute to the planning design and optimization of transportation infrastructure focusing on traffic flow roadways and transportation systems.
2. Utilities Planning and Management: Oversee the design and implementation of utilities infrastructure including water and electric systems ensuring efficiency and reliability.
3. Project Oversight: Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to budgets schedules and quality standards.
4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations codes and standards in Nevada and California particularly in the realms of transportation utilities and civil engineering.
5. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
6. ProblemSolving and Innovation: Identify and address challenges in civil engineering projects implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
7. Client Liaison: Interface with clients stakeholders and regulatory bodies to address project requirements and concerns maintaining strong professional relationships.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Nevada and California is mandatory.
1015 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation traffic utilities water and/or electric systems.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for civil engineering design and analysis.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Valid Drivers License is required for this inperson position.
