Job Description
Job Brief
We are seeking a detailoriented knowledgeable and professional Structural Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and designing structures be wellversed in structural engineering processes and standards and be bilingual in Korean and English. Our team of expert engineers designs analyzes plans and inspects various structural components for commercial buildings and large home development sites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop structural plans designs and drawings for construction personnel.
Oversee the construction of structures and frames.
Analyze and update ongoing projects to ensure structural safety.
Adhere to local building codes considering factors like flooding fire safety wind tunnels and surface quality.
Inspect and analyze existing buildings for safety and viability.
Recommend closing or demolishing unsafe buildings.
Plan renovations for listed buildings needing original restoration work.
Comply with health and safety guidelines.

Foundation for offset conditions

Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in a structural engineering role
Experience in managing design and engineering projects for industrial buildings manufacturing facilities or chemical plants particularly those involving steel and concrete structures.
Proficiency in software such as SAP 2000 ETABS MathCAD RISA 3D and STAAD
Strong skills in drawing designing and creating diagrams blueprints and drawings
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills both written and verbal in Korean and English
Knowledge of health and safety guidelines
Good report writing skills
Strong manual dexterity
Good problemsolving abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload

Salary
For those with over 3 years of experience the salary is above $100000.
If you have a PE license the starting salary is $130000.
Bonus is separate.
10 days PTO 6 public holidays.
Medical insurance SEP IRA 4%.
Visa support is also available.
Candidates who have studied structural engineering in the U.S. and hold a Korean structural engineer certification or those who have worked in structural design for more than 3 years in Korea are welcome. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
