Job Description

One of our esteemed clients in the shipbuilding industry is currently seeking an Interim Training Manager for immediate joining to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary:

As an Interim Training Manager you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing training programs for our organization on a temporary basis. Your responsibilities will include assessing training needs designing curriculum coordinating training sessions and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. This role requires strong organizational leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Needs Analysis:

    • Assess the training needs of different departments and teams.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify skill gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
  2. Curriculum Development:

    • Design and develop training programs and materials tailored to meet organizational needs.
    • Ensure that training content aligns with business goals and industry best practices.
  3. Training Coordination:

    • Coordinate and schedule training sessions ensuring accessibility for all relevant employees.
    • Collaborate with internal and external trainers to deliver effective training programs.
  4. Training Delivery:

    • Facilitate training sessions using various methodologies including workshops presentations and elearning platforms.
    • Ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for participants.
  5. Evaluation and Feedback:

    • Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery.
  6. Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of training attendance evaluations and feedback.
    • Generate reports on training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Budget Management:

    • Work within budgetary constraints to deliver costeffective training solutions.
    • Collaborate with the finance department to track trainingrelated expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Training and Development or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Training Manager or in a similar role in the Shipbuilding industry.
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using training management systems and elearning platforms.
  • Certifications in training and development are a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • The requirement is a commitment to a 12month interim role as Training Manager.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different training requirements and organizational structures.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
