Job Description

We are currently looking for a BIM Coordinatort (Ports and Waterways) to support one of our clients an important engineering company on its major marine infrastructure projects.

Your main tasks and duties will be:
  • The implementation and execution of BIM modelling for marine infrastructure projects
  • Assisting the project engineer in dimensioning marine infrastructure projects following current Belgian and European standards legislation codes of practice and internal guidelines
  • Preparing designs and finding the optimum installation methods (preliminary basis tender detailed) for marine structures such as port & waterways development studies: port master planning locks quay walls jetties dikes breakwaters
  • Setting and following up development in BIM systems for the product line Water Engineering and develop and improve the BIM tools and processes in cooperation with the team
  • Supporting the engineers and CAD designers
  • Setting up BIM protocols in tender phase



Requirements

  • Experience with BIM and proficiency in Revit.
  • Interest in the Ports and Waterways sector.
  • Fluent in English knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
