Network Access Maintenance L2 Team Leader

Job Brief

Responsible for managing and supervising all corrective and preventive maintenance activities for L2 maintenance team implemented in towers across Umniah's sites. Also, responsible for supporting and guiding the team through various maintenance activities, to ensure that network KPIs are met, while adhering to health and safety measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a holistic maintenance plan for L2 team (Power, RAN and MW) across Umniah's sites, to ensure the network quality standard are delivered
• Identify risks and threats regarding L2 responsible area, prepare plan to overcome and mitigate potential threats
• Monitor L1 activities to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out effectively
• Conduct random and regular site visits & audits to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out effectively, and provide support in advanced maintenance situations
• Review the technical and statistical reports related to power system, MW and RAN performance and overall maintenance activities and communicate updates with the management
• Participate in building & developing the yearly budget to maintain the network availability
• Handling the spare parts management (SPM) to assure the spare parts availability to overcome network failures
• Ensure that all team members are always adhering to health and safety measures to prevent any potential hazards or injuries
• Provide the periodic test plan for the RNC, BSC, and Big Nodes
• Reviewing and enhancing L1&L2 process and procedures
• liaise all Preventive maintenance report generated from the site Visits , Escalate to L1 inside the same Division or to the responsible Entity inside Engineering to clear all site snags.

• Supervise handling Operation and maintenance for The power system in Umniah nodes/sites .
• Supervise handling the maintenance for RAN and MW in Umniah sites/nodes.
• Lead/distribute The assigned tasks over L2 team
• Monitor the response level of L1&L2 maintenance activities and its reflection on the operational performance to maintain the agreed SLAs and OLAs
• Supervise handling Operation and maintenance for The power system in Umniah nodes/sites .
• Supervise maintenance activities documentation
• Contract management (Supervise the vendors in corrective and preventive maintenance tasks)

Requirements

Education Bachelor Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field

Level of Experience Intermediate Experience in a related field

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Essential:

• A working knowledge of power system and telecom system installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Advanced knowledge in Power systems .
• A working knowledge 3G,4G ,5G ,operation , commissioning and troubleshooting
• A working knowledge of MW operation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• A working knowledge of DC and AC systems
