Education and qualification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. May have a certified public accountant (such as CPA) certification that enhances the qualification.
Experience:
Previous work experience as an accountant for at least several years, preferably related to the field of projects.
Project management knowledge:
Strong understanding of accounting concepts associated with project management.
Ability to analyze costs and monitor budget for projects.
Artistic skills:
Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting programs, and the ability to use accounting information systems.
