Job Description
Our client a whiteglove thirdparty service provider that is integral in the construction & development process seeks an experienced Construction Draw Specialist to join their growing entrepreneurial team.
The Construction Draw Specialist works closely with the review reconciliation and execution of new construction draw requests from borrowers.
The ideal Construction Draw Specialist candidate has some experience with processing and/or preparing draw requests or accounts payable in a general contractor environment is highly detailoriented and has a good head for numbers.
This role is hybrid/remote with two days/week in a beautiful wellappointed office in Old Town Pasadena near public transit.
A day in the life of the successful Construction Draw Specialist includes but is not limited to:
- Leveraging technology to manage draw request files including uploading documents entering budget numbers and reconciling expenses
- Communicating with borrowers to obtain missing documentation or to ask questions needed to resolve an open item
- Clearing previous borrower draw requests with proof of payment
- Reviewing client communication documents and draw requests for accuracy and compliance with borrower guidelines
- Collaborating with company leaders in the execution of special projects new programs and adhoc requests as needed
Requirements
The ideal Construction Draw Specialist candidate possesses the following skills & experience:
- 1 years experience in general contractor or construction environment ideally managing accounts payable
- Understanding of budgeting & accounting principles
- Fluency in the construction finance the building process and associated language; capable of reading writing and communicating both verbally and in writing in a professional clear format
- Able to assimilate new concepts quickly learn new software and adapt to new processes & procedures
- Technologicallysavvy with a mastery of Adobe Acrobat DC Quickbooks Microsoft 365 (Excel Word PowerPoint OneDrive) and other software platforms
- Strong work ethic attention to detail and resourcefulness capable of working well independently and as a member of a crossdisciplinary team
- Associate or bachelor s degree from an accredited institution highly preferred or equivalent relevant working experience required
