Roles and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of production ingredients supplies & ram materials
- Ensure the availability of raw materials for production while minimizing excess stock
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking
- Ordering and Procurement
- Place orders for production ingredients packaging materials and other supplies as needed
- Verify the quantity of incoming goods
- Verify the quality of the incoming goods with the help of quality people
- Storage and Handling
- Safely store production ingredients and products following food safety and hygiene standards
- Implement FIFO (FirstInFirstOut) and proper storage practices
- Ensure that products are stored at appropriate temperatures and conditions
- Supervision of Staff
- Manage a team of storekeepers and store personnel
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff
- Provide training and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
- Quality Control
- Monitor product quality during storage to prevent spoilage or damage
- Report and address any quality issues promptly
- Cost Control
- Track and control inventory costs including storage expenses and wastage
- Identify costsaving opportunities in inventory management

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Operations Management). Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
