Primary Purpose
Our Premium Audit Managers are integral to our company s goal of meeting time service requirements while also providing a quality audit. The Audit Manager will manage operations of a region to ensure the quality and efficiency of NEIS, Inc. audit inventory and staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Job Description
The Premium Audit Manager position will be a resource to audit staff and NEIS, Inc. customers. The position can work remotely or from the Connecticut office and is considered an exempt salary position.
Essential functions of the position are:
- Provide support to a regional audit team
- Assign work based on auditors capabilities
- Set territories within the region to ensure efficiency within the region
- Hire audit staff based on need
- Evaluate and enforce job requirements of audit team according to the NEIS policies and procedures
- Provide inventory analysis to Regional VP on a weekly basis
- Manage production requirements for audit team
- Manage inventory by customer
- Participate in weekly meetings with Regional VP and audit team

Requirements
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work efficiently under high-volume, high-pressure situations
- Proficient in Windows, Office 365, Outlook, Adobe, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Highly proficient with spreadsheets
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Adaptable to continuous industry and company changes
- Positive, empathetic and professional interaction with staff and customers
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage a large workload and staff
- College degree or current audit work experience equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant premium audit industry experience
- 5+ years of management experience
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of premium audit industry standards
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of company and regulatory manual rules and state bureau audit requirements
- Must be able to travel as required
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Current experience with visual audit software preferred
