Job Description

As aTolerance Management Specialist youll lead interdisciplinary working groups and support technical departments in developing tolerance conceptsYou will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet their specifications and performance targets directly contributing to Autolivs goal of saving more lives through highquality safety products
If you think youll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards
- Support to technical departments in the development of tolerance anddimension concepts
- Leading interdisciplinary working groups (GD&T Knowledge Circle)
- Responsibility for the development and definition of work procedures /guidelines best practice and Lesson Learned in the framework of the working groups
- Responsible for Consultation Hour as support for the technicaldepartments
- Supporting the departments in creating technical drawingsaccording to ISO GPS standards (regarding completenessclarity and compliance for form orientation and positiontolerances)
- Advice and support the departments in development of theirproducts and modules regarding tolerances joining sequencesmeasurement planning etc over the product developmentphase
- Reviewing tolerance analysis and supporting colleagues intolerance calculation in Excel or DCSsoftware for Danalysis
- Performing DCS tolerance analyzes after special agreementwith the Quality Development Manager
and if you have/are
- Master in MechanicalEngineering
- At least years experience with GD&T andDCS job related activities/ projects
- Advanced English language skills
- Certifications Advanced GD&T Training DCS Training
- FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) knowledge could be a plus
- DfSS (Design for Six Sigma) knowledge could be a plus
- Personal characteristics proactive helpful strategic thinking
