Our client is looking for a Warranty Administrator to join the team at their Volvo dealership in Bristol. Waylands are a successful and growing motor dealer group, with 10 sites in Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Avon.
What s the Role?
This is a varied role. Key tasks include:
Invoicing repair orders accurately
Loading the workshop diary as required
Checking claims submitted by the dealership
Progress and submit claims to the Manufacturer
Ensure that any work undertaken meets the manufacturers requirements and criteria for warranty claims
Ensure that the repair order and all supporting documentation meets the manufacturers required standards
Ensure submission of all invoiced jobs and minimise warranty WIP
Assist the Accounts department in the reconciliation of the warranty payments
Dealing with any rejected warranty claims
Requirements
What do you need to have?
- Experience of working in a warranty admin role for at least a year or experience of working in Aftersales within the automotive industry would be preferred
- An understanding of the Kerridge system would also be advantageous; however, this is not essential.
- Good organisational skills
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work within specified guidelines and to deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong, cooperative relationships with customers & colleagues.
- An understanding of vehicle components would be an advantage

The ideal candidate should have a background in the automotive industry. However, exceptional candidates without an automotive background will be considered. The successful candidate will be personable, highly motivated and able to achieve consistently high levels of customer service. They will also be an effective communicator with an interest in cars.
