Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

Commission Structure: Commission

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in travel nurse staffing business development
  • Proven ability to get, retain, and manager direct hospital and MSP/VMS accounts
  • Must be willing to work in a start-up environment

About the Role

The main objective of the Business Development Manager is to help bring in accounts from both direct hospital contracts to MSP/VMS accounts. This is vital to the organization as this will provide more opportunities for the current book of nurses to pick from. This client is being proactive about their client acquisition strategy as opposed to reactive and whoever is placed in this role will be a valuable addition to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain direct contracts with hospitals in addition to MSP/VMS’s to staff Travel RN/Allied health professionals
  • Acquire the job information and first day details needed to put travel healthcare staff through the doors
  • Work with the CEO to build out client acquisition strategy
  • Effectively communicate with recruiting/delivery team to ensure the smooth transition for new placements
  • Expand within accounts to ultimately become the preferred provider

Candidate Requirements

  • 4+ years of business development experience getting contracts with hospitals and working with MSP/VMS systems
  • Ability to make effective change quickly and get clients within your first 2-3 months on the job
