The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure products are accurately received documented and dispatched promptly. This role demands attention to detail strong organizational skills and collaboration with other departments to maintain efficient workflow. Key duties include inspecting and recording incoming shipments preparing products for dispatch and generating shipping labels. The clerk also maintains accurate inventory records manages stock levels and coordinates orders. Additionally they handle documentation operate material handling equipment safely and provide customer service by addressing shipment issues. Compliance with company policies and safety protocols is essential.
