Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the hotel Finance Operations Manager, managing the IT processes and functions at the hotel, ensuring 100% hotel compliance with all relevant standards, and company policies.

Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • As Asst. IT Manager, you will supervise the IT Department to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests.
  • Ensure consistently strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outages.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge and apply it to deliver full system benefits.
  • Understand, fully, the legal requirements on IT governance and security
  • Manage all property owned IT equipment (their lifecycles) and order new IT equipment ahead of time, strictly following Hilton purchasing policies, guidelines, and approval chains
  • Respond to all assistance requests very speedily and with a service orientation attitude in line with our brand-specific culture
  • Identify and implement solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment
  • Work closely with the-property Finance Operations Manager and Country Focused Service IT Directors to ensure smooth running of the network and help maintain site systems.
  • Provide regular IT related skills / knowledge training to hotel TMs and HODs to increase their independence in resolving potential IT issues
  • Manage shared technology resources.
  • Periodically implement and carry out preventive maintenance on systems to ensure their reliability and availability

  • Previous IT management experience, preferably in the hotel, leisure, and/or service sector
  • Experience of hotel applications, such as Fidelio and Micros, preferred
  • General understanding of IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including networks, databases, business applications, and development methodology
