Job Description

Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Senior Product Owner to join their team
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for the development delivery and continuous improvement of the Online Enrolment System (OES) product while ensuring the high availability of the system They will work extensively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the OES roadmap is aligned to deliver customer value
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage product lifecycle including defining and executing product vision and strategy validating product features and design and collecting and prioritising inputs to inform product decisions and direction
- Lead and manage stakeholder engagement to understand business goals business metrics and strategy so they can be incorporated into product planning Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication negotiation and problem management
- Balance the immediate need of the business with future requirements and align product investments accordingly
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Education Project Management or relevant field or equivalent experience
- Have years plus experience in the workings of public educational practices policies and trends
- Have years plus experience as a Product Owner in large complex organisations preferably in government
- Comprehensive understanding of agile delivery and practices with years plus experience
On offer is a month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation with a highly competitive daily rate
