Job Description

Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator is a vital support role, responsible for assisting Project Managers with all administrative tasks and ensuring the compliance of all project-related activities. The primary focus is on maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and ensuring seamless project delivery.

Principal Accountabilities

- Accurately process project information and documentation.
- Ensure all project deadlines are met promptly and efficiently.
- Participate in obtaining and upholding company certification systems.
- Identify and suggest corrective actions for any non-compliance issues.
- Act as the interface with clients, receiving projects via Alfresco, and entering project details into the database.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to initiate quoting processes and oversee the purchase order (PO) process.
- Assist Project Managers in preparing project quotations.
- Manage subcontractor communications and potentially raise purchase orders.
- Prepare, produce, and quality-check work packs.
- Provide commercial support to Project Managers and the Commercial department.
- Monitor the work programs performance to ensure efficient plan delivery.
- Report process management data accurately.
- Support customer interactions, including Carding preparations, letters, etc.
- Ensure all project-related deadlines are met consistently.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Professional Membership(s)
- Minimum secondary education: GCSEs or equivalent in maths and English.

Knowledge & Experience
- Previous administrative experience is preferable.
- Experience in Streetworks noticing and hiring of plant is preferred but not essential.

Skills & Personal Qualities
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, handling challenging situations with composure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated desire and personal pride in making continuous improvements.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently and proactively.
- Strong customer focus, dedicated to meeting client needs and expectations.
- Ability to identify opportunities where assistance can benefit colleagues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
