Construction Manager Representative

• Communications: Conduct written approval information, notification of problems or issues observed, coordination, participate in conference calls as necessary
  
• Meetings: Arrange, attend, and facilitate a variety of meetings including, but not limited to, weekly progress meetings at project site, prepare written meeting minutes
  
• Construction Modifications: Review, comment, and process construction specifications and technical and informational submittals, review and process; baseline and progress; schedules; requests for payments and associated documents
  
• Submittal Reviews: Monitor Construction Contractor compliance with submittals
  
• General Inspections: Inspect work of construction contractors for progress, workmanship, quality, and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes, and safety standards. Complete daily report
  
• Architect/Engineer (A/E) Inspections: Coordinate critical point, special, beneficial, and final inspections by Design Staff or other Inspectors so construction work can be reviewed in a timely and efficient manner.
  

Requirements

• Knowledge of and experience with construction practices directly related to Roofing, historic preservation,
  
• Knowledge and experience with site improvement projects that include grading and drainage; historic structure preservation and rehabilitation methods, and wood structure fabrication and construction.
  
• Certifications related to the construction practices and materials including asphalt and concrete paving.
  
• Education and professional qualifications leading to or equivalent to a Construction Management Degree or Engineering Degree
