Duration: 3+ months contract to hire

Position Purpose:
This Senior Data Analyst role will support the Revenue Realization Team and will be integral to enabling insightful data analytics to aid in decision-making at Stericycle. This role shall serve as a lead analytical individual contributor specializing in uncovering entitled revenue opportunities, modeling, and estimating the respective revenue impact. Takes further actions necessary to support the revenue recovery. Additionally, this person shall oversee, guide, and support the day-to-day activities of the data analytics team assuring performance goals and expectations are met. Offers suggestions to management with ideas on how to improve analytics, results, employee morale, and streamline processes.

Key Job Activities:

• Build and use SQL queries to produce data from multiple internal sources that will support the work of the Revenue Realization Team in projects on an Ad Hoc Basis
• Build data tracking and information spreadsheets for individual projects that allow input from the Realization Team.
• Produce documents and mass uploads that update pricing based on findings by the Revenue Realization team to collect entitled revenues.
• Producing reports and tracking process of Revenue Support Reps efforts to recover entitled revenues.
• Self educated on other internal data sources as they are introduced with Stericycle, which will allow the Revenue Realization Team to expand their reach on Projects and collect additional entitled revenues in an accelerated manner.
• Perform other duties and activities as assigned by Leadership.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent
• Bachelor of Science degree in quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research) or the equivalent in related work experience.
• Two or more years of recent experience as a Business or Sales Analyst
• Billing and/or pricing experience preferred
• Experience in service business preferred but not required
• Minimum of two years of experience and knowledge building reports within a standard reporting application (i.e., SAP Business Objects, Cognos BI, SQL Reporting Services) and producing queries as needed from each of the data points and systems, along with ad hoc data marts for analysis using business intelligence tools (i.e. SQL, Alteryx, SSIS, etc)
• Experience with (understand, develop, and execute queries) SQL, SAP Hana Enterprise and relational databases preferred
• Advanced Excel experience (V Look-up, Pivot Tables, Formulas, and other calculations) and comfortable using other Microsoft Office products
• Willingness to expand upon know technical skills and continually develop/learn new technical skills in support of new tools/methods
• Ability to work independently and manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on results.
