Job Description & Skill Requirement:
System Architect Functional Safety
- This role will be responsible for ensuring that a cross-functional team that interacting between multiple teams / engineers to generate the work products for ADAS/ AD/ IVI. He/ She shall participate in system analysis like HARA, FSC, TSC, FRS, TSR, FMEA, FTA, DFA, DFMEA, WCCA, FIT etc and validate the deliverables of supplier w.r.t to safety requirements, including ASIL targets, decomposition strategies, and any other deliverables. Shall be responsible for generation and compilation of safety documentation and confirmation measures as per ISO 26262 standards.
Expected -
- Project and technical leadership to ensure safety standards and its processes
- Perform audit, confirmation review and technical assessment of different system modules, evaluate and identify gaps, then suggest implementation and validation solutions
- Collaborate with different stakeholder to drive Safety Analysis and perform technical assessment according to the applicable standards and processes
- Provide technical leadership for team and bridge necessary gaps on system understanding on Safety process, Safety culture
- Interface with quality management (QMS), cybersecurity, and operational safety
- Engage with external manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance
- Participate and interact with safety assessors to facilitate the assessment activities
Required -
-
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Safety Engineering
- 10+ years' experience working with ISO 26262 standard
- Demonstrated experience in certifying or assessment of automotive software (preferred autonomous)
- Demonstrated practical experience on HARA, FSC, TSC, FSR/TSR, DFMEA, SFMEA, FMEDA, FTA, STPA, reliability estimation, and root cause analysis
- Demonstrated experience in ISO audit, ISO Technical assessment of deliverables, Tools & Component Qualification
- Have good knowledge on system safety project and/or safety critical software from concept to validation
- Defining and documenting safety lifecycle processes for complex safety critical systems, including safety plans, safety requirements, specifications, assessments, etc.
- Good in hardware analysis & design
- Good in Software understanding & analysis
- Excellent communication skills
Good to Have (not required)
- Knowledge of Sensor like Lidar, Radar, Camera etc
- Any Safety Certification like ISO 26262:2018, ISO 21434
- Demonstrated safety experience in vehicle subsystems (e.g. steering, braking), safety critical electronics development, or sensor development
