SF based, mIdsize logistics company looking for a Corporate Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations. Company has been in business for over 30 years and is continuing to grow. Position will report into CFO, oversee a team of 4. Salary range offered is $130 - 160K DOE.
Position Overview:
Manage general accounting team of five including an Accounting Manager (A/P, A/R, & G/L), financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions.
Direct cash management among all entities and bank accounts. Cash management monthly forecasting.
Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
Prepare monthly financial statements
Direct and manage all aspects of the external audits.
Responsible for all financial reporting activities as all compliance reporting
Strong Financial reporting skills which include actual vs budget analysis as well as additional ad hoc financial reporting.
Develop long-term financial/ operational strategy for the company
Coordinate with outside CPA firm
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field; CPA highly preferred
Extensive understanding of finance and accounting principles and best practices for financial management in a nonprofit setting.
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting management.
In-depth knowledge of QuickBooks and Netsuite accounting software
An analytical mind with good organizational skills.
