We have a fresh new facility centered in Saskatoon, This Mapping Technician would be preferred to be located in the central Eastern Saskatchewan area to best facilitate surrounding This position will work with the Agronomy team and report to the Mapping The Mapping Technician will be able to work independently while communicating with multiple teams within The Mapping Technician will be expected to travel often including overnight ;
Responsibilities
-Collection of geo-referenced electrical conductivity, RTK elevation, and field boundaries
-Providing variable-rate controller support to new clients
-Assisting agronomy staff with in-season insect and disease scouting
-Champion the brand and help grow the business throughout SK
-Able to work independently and think strategically

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture or equivalent technical field or related 3-5 years' experience in the precision agriculture industry working with multiple brands of equipment Knowledge of Western Canadian agriculture Well organized, detail-oriented and a quick learner Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to work in a high-pressure situation while maintaining excellent customer service skills Strong computer and technical knowledge Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home Must be willing to work longer hours during spring seeding and fall fertilizing
