Job Description

We are seeking innovative and driven Mechanical/HVAC engineersto join our growing team. You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to mechanical/HVAC system design including, engineering calculations, HVAC equipment selections, ductwork/piping layouts and sizes. You will work under the direction of a Professional Engineer to perform other design-related tasks. This role offers growth opportunities as you become responsible for broader aspects of Mechanical/HVAC Engineering and design, while gaining experience towards a PE license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical/HVAC system design.
  • Select equipment such as fans, air handling units, heat exchangers etc.
  • Size and Layout ductwork and piping.
  • Perform load calculations using Trance Trace.
  • Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.
  • Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.


Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a mechanical concentration.
  • FE/EIT Certification is preferred.
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software platforms.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
