Autonomy Staffing is a leading staffing agency providing top talent to companies in various industries. Our client a wellestablished engineering firm in Charleston SC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Job Summary:
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and testing mechanical systems and components for various projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects
Conduct research and analyze data to determine feasibility cost and performance of mechanical systems
Create and review technical drawings specifications and other engineering documentation
Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure project goals are met
Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design and development process
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in project management is a plus
