Job Description:
- Coordinate preconstruction activities for earth retention and specialized foundation projects
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements
- Manage the preparation and submission of bid proposals and budgets
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget
- Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and services
- Provide technical support and guidance to project team members
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to address their needs and concerns
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of excavation support, jet grouting, landslide stabilization, micropile retaining walls, secant piles, shotcrete, soil mixing, soil nailing, tiebacks, and underpinning
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Experience:
- Experience in the geotechnical or geostructural design and construction industry
- Experience with earth retention systems and specialized foundations
- Experience working on large-scale projects
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Professional certifications or licenses (preferred)
