Transportation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design new highway roadways, recondition existing highways, intersections and roundabouts, construction staging, erosion control and storm water management
  
• Project Management duties
  
• Utility/agency coordination
  
• Create project reports (environmental/design study reports)
  
• Perform/supervise plan production
  
• Perform contract preparation/negotiation
  
• Design roundabouts
  
• Perform client meetings
  

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
  
• 6+ experience in transportation project design/project management
  
• PE License
  
• Qualified Roundabout Designer Level 1 or higher
  
• Experience designing Wisconsin State, County, Municipal and Township transportation infrastructure projects
  
• Experience with Public Informational Meetings and ability to present benefits of a proposed roundabout
  
• Plan, report and specification production skills
  
• Experience with advanced AutoCAD Civil 3D and 3D modeling
  
• Proficient in use of the Wisconsin Facilities Development Manual for project development
  
• Familiar with NCHRP guidelines
  
• Construction inspection of transportation projects experience preferred
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
