Job Description

  • Responsible for preparing and closing the Financial Statements every month in accordance with IFRS Standard and in line with the Group Policy and procedures.
  • Main point of coordination with internal and external auditors.
  • Responsible for the Tax Filing by Country. VAT, WHT and Corporate Tax Filings to liaise with the designated third party to ensure information is audited and checked before filing.
  • Ensure provisions are taken in line with Group ECL Policy and communicated to the Head of Finance.
  • Analyse all lines of the P&L to explain variances versus Budget/Forecast.
  • Driving the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensuring all information is maintained with accurate and updated working files to be reviewed at any point in time.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and drive efficiencies throughout the department.
  • Lead and play a key role in project management and liaising with the project managers to ensure accurate and precise forecasts.
  • Maintaining and Reconciling Balance Sheet schedules on a monthly basis.
  • Provide Cash Flow Forecasting Reports weekly and highlighting any areas where funds are required to maintain the operational position of each entity.
  • Support with the weekly credit control meetings on collection status and agreeing on the actions assigned.
  • Responsible for the accounting of all transactions and ensuring that entries are posted correctly in accordance with IFRS and with Group Policy.
  • Managing payroll payments and all employee provisions on the balance sheet.
  • Responsible for all Q2C dashboard reporting for identifying new and renewed deals.
  • Ensure the AR and AP functions are running according to the processes in place.
  • Maintain all customer reconciliation on revenue recognition and ensuring all accounts are accurate and up to date.
  • Support the business with financial matters as required.


  • Requirements

    • Professional education in business administration, finance or equivalent at a reputed institution or equivalent work experience.
    • Finance or Accounting Certificate is a must e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or CFA is a must.
    • A persistent nature and a willingness to understand and overcome operational challenges/obstacles.
    • Advanced English Proficiency.
    • Strong accounting background and the ability to effectively communicate financial matters when and as required.
