QA Automation Engineer with Python and Mobile Application Experience (Android)

Local to CA and should go onsite in Sunnyvale, CA

Python Automation Tester for an ongoing engagement with our client who is the largest Search Engine company.

Job Duties and requirements :

Device test automation using Python scripts
Utilize in-house test automation frameworks to automate the manual test cases for consumer electronics device
Extend the test automation framework for specific requirements
Understand the existing manual test cases and be able to quickly translate them to automated test cases.
Implementing best practices, new tools and technology to automate the manual test cases.

Requirements :

Experience of writing test scripts and API test automation in Python
Fundamental knowledge of smart phone software, connectivity technology such as BT, Wifi, UWB
5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience developing test automation for consumer electronics devices
Android adb commands and log analysis experience is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Linux
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in computer applications including spreadsheets, and Words processing
