The HRIS Program Manager plays a highly cross-functional and critical role as the driving force behind the success of a key transformation program. We are looking for a talented and analytical Program Manager to collaborate with team members at all levels to drive the planning, design, implementation and change management activities across multiple functions while ensuring our strict timelines and budgets are met.
Reporting to the Head of IT PMO, your expertise will help guide strategic HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits systems and bring transparency to other ancillary teams who depend on these systems. Responsibilities
- Enhance program governance to ensure quality and consistency across all workstreams.
- Collaborate with core team, workstream leads, and vendors for short and long-term planning and overall execution.
- Synthesize complex problems in an ambiguous environment; establish, maintain and manage project plans, RAID log, detailed project documentation, deliverables, schedules, tasks, and assignments across the organization.
- Resolve and respond to issues that could impact the project budget, schedule, scope, or quality in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and managers to develop communication plans, arrange meetings, and facilitate strong communication, consensus, and change management, employing effective communication skills and proactive methods.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL, SAFe, Six Sigma) with experience in risk management and interdependency management.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical environment or as a technical program manager involved in IT business systems implementations and support.
- Collaborative cross-functional team facilitation and negotiation skills using excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills that generate respect and trust from stakeholders.
- Ability to define project deliverables and manage project budgets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of HR processes and their technical support within complex global organizations.
- Experienced in implementing and delivering HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence Management, Benefits, Advanced Compensation and Reporting.
- Familiarity of integrating Workday with peripheral applications (Benefits Cloud Connect, Core Connector, custom EIB, or Workday Studio).
Familiarity of Vendor Management best practices.
