This is a highly visible opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated Manufacturing Business Operations Analyst. We are a growing national Cabinet Manufacturing operations with facilities in 5 states. This position is located in South Plainfield, NJ at our corporate offices. This position requires the ability to work directly with the COO to provide data analysis, coordinate and attend virtual meetings (both domestic and international), as well as track production and inventory operations at 5 domestic manufacturing facilities. Must be driven by numbers and analysis and able to sort through 1,000’s of lines of information to make recommendations that allow the business to prosper and drive profit margins. Will need to be capable of utilizing Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Excel, and all other MS Office applications. NetSuite ERP background is a big plus.
This highly visible role will provide the analysis needed for a growing company to strategically place themselves in a growing market within the Cabinet Manufacturing industry. We are looking for a solid understanding of Manufacturing and potentially Lean Operations and Continuous Improvement exposure, but this is an analytical role that will be the right hand to the COO. No task is to small, and no insight/analysis should be taken for granite. Communications, scheduling and travel arrangements to vendors, facilities, and oversees operations will fall within scope.
Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, and manufacturing operations to work through and analyze data, and then create thoughtful, concise, and thorough recommendations on current business needs, trends, and industry forecasts.
Work directly with the COO to manage workflow on his desk in a timely manner.
Track and analyze daily inventory trends and production flow for 5 location in the US.
Tracks key performance indicators to help the company achieve production targets and profitability margins.
Handle scheduling for trips and travel both domestic and international, and virtually attend international meetings when needed.
Additional Requirements:
Excellent mastery of Excel, Pivot Tables, V-Lookups
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
At least 4-6 years related analytical experience
Net Suite ERP understanding is a plus
4- 6 years of Manufacturing experience
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and things on track
Lean and Continuous Improvement experience is a plus
Able to prioritize and re-prioritize with very little notice
Excellent computer skills MS and Google Suite
