Job Title : Power System Analysis & Design Specialist
Onsite: Houston, TX (Two Allen Center, Downtown Houston)


DESCRIPTION:
Power System Analysis & Design Specialist recognized as an expert in the field of system analysis and design.
The candidate shall provide technical expertise and support to Saudi Aramco Engineering in the development of facility designs, power system studies, protection, and solutions to unusual operating and maintenance problems.
The candidate shall have knowledge of special studies such as but not limited to harmonics, switching transient, and stability.
Hands on experience on ETAP or equivalent tool for 3 to 4 years.
The applicant role includes identifying pertinent new technologies to enhance company profitability and productivity.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and incorporates new, cost-effective solutions in design through Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices.
Represents the Company in industry joint programs to improve designs and specifications. Participates as a technical expert or arbitrator in Contract disputes.
Undertake special assignments requiring extensive technical experience and discretion when dealing with outside organizations.

BASIC CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have the following experience and competencies:
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering; a MS is a plus.
Minimum of 10-15 years in the area of power system analysis and design preferably in Oil and Gas.

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and networking skills.
Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
