Job Description

This is a remote position.

Summary:

Are you a results-driven professional with a full-cycle mindset and a passion for B2B SaaS product marketing? Weibermacht Consulting's client, a leading internet tech company in higher education, is seeking a talented Product Marketer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end marketing initiatives, showcase your exceptional writing skills, and significantly impact the company's success.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Take charge of developing marketing and sales enablement materials, from ideation to publication, to support the sales and customer success teams.
  • Craft compelling content, including case studies, demonstrating the value and impact of the company's B2B SaaS product offerings.
  • Develop messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences and ensure consistent product-related messaging across the organization.
  • Be the voice of the customer in messaging by actively engaging with customers, listening to sales calls, and participating in customer check-in meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to understand the product's full functionality, integrations, and add-ons, as well as the product roadmap and GTM launch schedule.
  • Establish a bi-directional feedback loop between the product and marketing teams, acting as the marketing team's subject matter expert on product functionality and messaging.
  • Drive alignment between marketing, product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure effective product messaging and positioning.
  • Product manage the marketing and enablement activities for new product releases, both internally and externally.
  • Secondary Responsibilities:

Play a role in developing programs that identify and capture brand evangelists to support word-of-mouth and referrals.


Requirements

Required Skills, Background & Experiences:

  • A self-starter with a full-cycle mindset, able to take initiative and drive products from conception to execution.
  • A great writer with proven experience crafting engaging and impactful content, particularly case studies.
  • Comfortable and understand the intricacies of product marketing in this space.
  • Ability to distill complex ideas and value propositions into clear and compelling assets, messages, and talking points.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong advocate for self, willing to ask questions, seek clarifications and take ownership of products.
  • Proven track record of executing marketing initiatives, hitting KPIs, and driving results.
  • Excellent product management skills, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple products and meet deadlines.
  • A deep empathy for customers and their challenges and opportunities in the industry.
