We are looking for a safety-minded individual to perform various duties at our aggregate site to ensure operations run smoothly.

Heres What You Will Be Doing:

  • Perform all aspects of quarry plant labor including cleanup, lubrication, process adjustment & repair in accordance with NESL operating and safety guidelines.
  • Inspection of equipment to ensure safe operation and maintain good working order.
  • Perform physical labor, including shoveling, lifting and climbing up to 70 feet.
  • Operate and maintain small equipment.
  • Communicate with onsite foreman of daily work requirements.
  • Follow designated routes adhering to safety policies and procedures in place.
  • Move raw aggregate material from quarry to crushing system.
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards while adhering to safety policies.
  • Complete daily pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on the equipment.
  • Identify and resolve basic mechanical equipment issues
  • Other duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience - This position is an entry-level job, however previous experience in quarry and construction work is preferred. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
  • Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with job
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends / holidays / nights.
  • Welding experience strongly preferred.Previous verifiable heavy equipment operator experience is a plus.
