Job Description
Diversified, Inc., is looking for a full-time FedEx Business Contact (BC) to join our team!
Our ideal candidate has a strong ability to lead and coach others, along with strong communication skills. They have a desire for excellence and continuous improvement, along with practicing and enforcing safety measures. Please read the job description carefully before applying, as the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Division Lead. The Business Contact will act as a liaison between our drivers and upper management. They will be responsible to oversee daily P&D operations and have a solid daily presence at the FedEx Terminal building and maintaining a strong positive work enviornment with all company drivers. The ideal candidate must be able to operate in a state of chaos at times in a calm, professional, and sophisticated manner.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all daily P&D operations are successful
- DRO (Dynamic Route Optimization) and route planning daily/nightly
- Distribute daily routes to drivers & ensureattendance
- Support and assist in developing company policies and procedures
- Attend daily FedEx meeting to review previous day results
- Complete and process all paperwork in a timely manner
- Facilitate ISP and Station Communication during load times
- Ensure drivercompliance with dailyroute duties such as pickups, coding,efficiency, paperwork, hours of service, pre/post trip inspections
- Conduct/Assist in development/critiquingof training programs
- Work with Service Manager to assist in scheduling of truck maintenance and ensure proper vehicle inspections are being performed by the drivers
- Be a backup driver on a delivery route, if necessary

Experience Required:
FedEx or transportation delivery management, general management, or general operations experience required (2 Years)
Delivery Driver experience preferred (1 Year)

- Must be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug screen, background check, and MVR screen
- Must be reliable, organized, hardworking, and timely
- Able to lead by example
