Job Overview

We wish to appoint a professional Learning and Development ( L&D) Manager on a remote basis. Communication with team members will be electronic with mandatory attendance and participation in weekly company-wide training calls for in-house and professional development.

As a Learning and Development Manager, you should assist and provide support and necessary training to your team members. You should also help them acquire new skills and learn professional development. In addition to this, you should assess and determine the potential areas for growth and progression.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and identify the current skills of team members .
  • Identify target areas and KPIs for members of your team.
  • Develop and implement learning strategies for the overall development of your team.
  • Plan and prepare training materials in line with latest trends.
  • Arrange in-house training programs and present when scheduled.
  • Monitor and evaluate the team s progress through monthly performance reviews.
  • Modify and adjust team training programs when needed.
  • Record and report training courses and results. Share the same with the Learning & Development team on a regular basis.
  • Research and incorporate new methodologies for effective development and overall growth.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and trends in the industry.
  • Manage and execute social media campaigns through audience identification, benchmarking, competitive research, and platform determination.
  • Develop, edit, publish, and share content, for example, pictures or video on a regular basis, with the Learning & Development team.
  • Thoroughly research and analyse data to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Analyse marketing metrics such as leads, retention, response, and ROI.
  • Implementing various skill development and motivation techniques.
  • Providing one-on-one coaching sessions when required.
  • Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with team members and management colleagues.
  • Attending conferences and events to upgrade skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years work experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, Training & Development Manager,or Training Manager
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office and LMS (Learning Management System) like Docebo or TalentLMS.
  • Current knowledge of effective instructional models and resources.
  • Exceptional management and instructional skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive environment in the workplace.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of Social Media Marketing channels - Google+, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent content writing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
  • Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good time management abilities.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
