Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Engine Specialist to support an aircraft project in Little Rock, AR. This opportunity focuses on work specifically related to the PW812 engine.Interested candidates should have experience with turbofan engines. Compensation will

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, troubleshoot and modify aircraft and aircraft engines.
  • Repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures, system and functional components.
  • Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft systems using hand tools, gauges and test equipment, machines and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, pneumatic tools.
  • Research and understand FAA technical data relevant to assigned tasks.
  • Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.
  • Remove and/or install aircraft components, test IAW MM and troubleshoot aircraft systems.


Requirements

  • A&P Certificate
  • Good customer relationship management
  • Experienced in PART 21certification environment
  • Knowledge of PW812 engine (if not training will be provided by PWC)
Desired
  • Associate s Degree (or Technical School equivalent) in Aircraft Maintenance or related field from an FAA accredited school.
  • Strong knowledge in FAA regulations, Aviation Rules (FOD s, Safety, Quality, Hazardous Materials, Aircraft Marshalling), aerodynamics, aircraft electrical systems, materials science, aircraft maintenance, electrical testing, instrumentation, gas turbine and piston power plants.


3+ years experience of OEM integration work. Skilled at creating and reviewing technical schematics, logical and functional diagrams, and engineering specifications. Previous experience with aircraft systems. Working knowledge of 2X.1309 analyses and processes, including Advisory Circular 23.1309-1E, SAE ARP 4761, and SAE ARP 4754A. Working knowledge of DO-160G environmental qualification. Basic knowledge of FAA regulations and guidance material and industry standards. Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Desired Working knowledge of avionics and related equipment, technical standard orders, and minimum performance standards. Working knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 processes and aviation database management. Previous experience managing complex sets of requirements. Previous experience preparing and presenting design reviews for complex, highly integrated systems. Previous experience defining system controls, crew indications, and flight manual procedures Previous experience in testing, including instrumenting, data acquisition, and documenting and analyzing results. Whole-aircraft FAA certification program experience, Part 23 or Part 27 preferred. Experience and involvement with industry groups to develop consensus standards. 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Private pilot certificate or higher. Familiar with Dassault Syst mes engineering and management tools.
