Job Description
Job Title: Operations Quality Assurance Engineer/ Coordinator
Location: New York City (Hybrid, 3 days a week)
Duration: 12 Months+
Job Description:
- Experience working with various Broker/Dealer products securities processing including Equities, Bonds, Treasuries, ABS, MBS, Securitized Products, Repos/Reverse Repo, Stock Borrow/Loan.
- Experience with Industry wide initiatives within a global bank supporting the settlements & clearing function- T+3 to T+2 Project experience
- 12 to 15+ years of experience working in a role spanning from Front office to Back office including finance and Risk
- Prior experience in delivering Operations related projects, familiarity with processes and controls
- Experience with middle office systems and collateral management
- Experience working with Broadridge systems Finpro/ BPS/ Impact (Preferred)
- Streamline interface to the business to end-to-end operational processes supporting the securities and derivatives product
- Warehouse and test all Cash, Stock, FOBO and Inter-system reconciliations and help to investigate to fine-tune the delivery.
- QA coordinator/Manager with proven track record of stakeholder engagement and management
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC (Agile and Waterfall)
- Hands on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution and Defect Management
- Hands on experience in creating and executing test scenarios, test cases, functional testing, regression testing, data driven testing and meeting their SLAs
- Able to review independently and analyze business requirements; evaluate data sources, business rules etc...
- Strong understanding of SQL concepts must have experience in Oracle, SQL Server databases
- Control M experience and SSIS able to run jobs independently (Preferred)
- Experience with Data-warehouse, Data lake MS Azure (Preferred)
- Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, TestNG etc
- Automation experience is a plus in Java, Selenium, Maven, IntelliJ Idea
- Go-getter attitude
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (preferred)
Broker/Dealer products securities, Finance and Risk, T+3 to T+2 Project experience, QA coordinator/Manager , Oracle, SQL Server databases.
