Job Description

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by a Plumbing and Mechanical Service Provider to recruit for a Division Manager. In this new role, reporting to the CEO, the Division Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all staff, installation, quality control, customer satisfaction, and profit and loss results of the Mai Holdings business unit. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies, providing strategic guidance, analyzing financial data, and assisting in the efforts of developing a “one-company” culture.

This company is a premier multi-family plumbing and mechanical subcontractor service provider based in Denver, Colorado, serving the entire Denver area. With extensive knowledge and experience, they deliver exceptional plumbing and mechanical services and cater to various clients including homeowners, builders, contractors, business owners, property management companies, and real estate agencies. Their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction have been their driving force since their establishment’s creation with their family legacy spanning two generations. Their goal is to provide top-notch service, attention to detail, and cost-effective solutions, ensuring their customers receive the best experience possible.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Direct all aspects of operations for a specific business unit.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of managers and employees, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure front-line leaders meet customer demand, service expectations, and sales targets.
  • Establish operation standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure adequate planning and resources are in place for all business and production objectives.
  • Manage labor planning and resource allocation, ensuring adequate planning, communication, and resources are in place for all business and production objectives.
  • Drives culture and promotes morale and performance excellence.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Foster continual improvement and a culture that engages employees to improve operations using technology, processes, and tools.
  • Review dashboards and financial reports and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 5 + years proven experience in a leadership role, in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, or construction companies/industries, preferably within the commercial and multifamily service industry.
  • Knowledge of the commercial and multifamily service industry and related regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to walk large job sites.
  • Strong business acumen, with a track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, financial analysis and profit and loss management.
  • Ability to read and review blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using technology and software systems to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $170,000 - $210,000

Bonus: 0-20-30% based on performance
