Field Service Representative

This position provides on-site services, including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all upstate NY and western PA product lines. The ideal candidate will be near Buffalo, NY.

It starts at $28.00 - $31.00/hour and varies according to experience within analytical instrumentation. In addition to a monthly car allowance and mileage reimbursement, our client offers full benefits, profit-sharing bonuses, and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.

Among the responsibilities are:

• Maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating instruments at customer sites.
• Plan trips and manage inventory in relation to service functions.

Candidates should possess the following qualities:

• A minimum of two years' experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work independently.
• Working knowledge of electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools
• Engineering degree or a related technical degree.
• It is possible to travel frequently overnight (50% to 75% of the time).
• A valid driver's license and passport are required.
